Oakwood has always provided a home to a wide array of community organizations. Part of our mission is to provide free or low-cost space  to grassroots organizations, community organizers, and neighborhood entrepreneurs.

Space in the community center is available for one-time community events such as conferences and parties, at an affordable rental rate.

We offer free use of meeting space by neighborhood partners, specifically the Hillside North Neighborhood Association. Small, grassroots organizations can use meeting space at Oakwood at pay-what-you-can rates. Groups seeking to repeatedly hold meetings at Oakwood should apply for a residency.

We offer long-term rentals of office space for small and emerging community organizations and social entrepreneurs (small businesses that seek to serve the public good), as well as long-term rentals of worship space for nesting churches.
