James Connolly Forum

James Connolly Forum is currently on hold due to Covid.

James Connolly Forum sponsors speaker events  which generally happen once a month and are announced via email or on Oakwood Community Center’s Facebook page. The Connolly Forum also has a website that is regularly updated.

James Connolly (June 1868 – 12 May 1916) was an Irish republican and socialist leader. Lived briefly in the Oakwood CC neighborhood. He was executed by a British firing squad because of his leadership role in the Easter Rising of 1916.
