Interested in hosting an event at Oakwood?

Oakwood Community Center offers affordable space for your next party, meeting, or event and there are three different spaces available to suit your needs including the lower parlor, sanctuary and living room.

Please note that our spaces are available for rental on Saturday afternoons. Exceptions will be made on a case by case basis.

What spaces are available?

  • Sanctuary

    Ideal for large lectures, conferences, weddings or seated events.

  • Lower Parlor

    A Large and welcoming spot for parties, concerts, large meetings, dinners, and community events.

    Rental of the lower parlor optionally includes use of Oakwood’s large community kitchen.

  • Classroom

    Perfect for a small meeting, seminar or group activity.

  • Living Room

    A cozy spot for small meetings.

    This space is reserved for use by local, nonprofit organizations and community groups, at a pay-what- you-can rate. Reservations must be made at least one week in advance.

  • The rate to rent our spaces is $50 per hour.

  • Yes! Let us know you live in the neighborhood when you reach out and we can provide you with a discounted rate.

  • Rates for longer rental periods may be negotiated on a case by case basis.

  • A rental agreement must be signed at least one week in advance of the event.

  • A security deposit of $150 is due when the rental agreement is signed for events that use the kitchen. Deposit varies for other room rentals.
